Set of three Victorian ink bottles
A pretty set of three different shaped vintage glass ink bottles, dating from the Victorian era and beyond. They include:
- A rectangular bottle with two inset panels in a pale turquoise hue. Measures 8 cm tall.
- A square bottle with ridges on three sides and two ridges on the top of the bottle for resting the pen. It is in a very pale turquoise hue. Marked to the base Vickers Ink. Measures 5 cm tall.
- A larger octagonal bottle with circular neck. Measures 7 cm tall.
All the bottles are in good condition considering their age. The lips on the bottles are sharp. This is common with old ink bottles due to the way they were manufactured, so please unwrap with care. Some inclusions and manufacturing bubbles in the glass. All measurements are approximate.
They would look beautiful displayed in a collection of glass. They make an interesting accessory in a home office and are lovely gift for a calligrapher.
