Set of three unusual vintage glass paste jars
A lovely set of old English glass paste jars in three different designs, dating from the early twentieth century. They include:
- A lovely curved jar with stripes. Measures 9 cm high.
- An unusual hexagonal jar with round base and round lip with a diamond pattern and has a registration number on its shoulder. Measures 9.75 cm high.
- A CWS jar with a lovely textured diamond pattern and shield blank. Measures 9 cm tall.
Originally these jars were used for sandwich paste. Now, with their lovely chunky textures, they are pretty to display in a kitchen or bathroom and can be used as small storage jars or as small vases.
They are in good, clean, vintage condition. A few small marks from age and use. The hexagonal jar has a couple of "bruise" marks.
