Pair of larger sized vintage English ceramic pots
A lovely pair of English natural stoneware conserve jars from the early twentieth century, both in a lovely deep cream colour. They are similar in height but have slightly different decoration around their neck.
Both have various age related marks, with some little bumps under the glaze and scrapes to the base, typical of these jars that give them a lovely rustic feel and look. One jar has some small chips to the underneath but these have been glazed over so were done in the manufacturing stage. The same jar has some rust stains and marks, particularly on the inside. They measure 14.5 cm and 14 cm tall.
They would look beautiful displayed as part of a collection or an would make a great addition to a kitchen shelf. They would be equally at home in a vintage style or modern home, and they are a handy size meaning they could be used as utensil pots, plant pots or vases. A great way of adding a farmhouse feel to your kitchen.
