A lovely pair of English natural stoneware conserve jars from the late nineteenth century, both in a lovely rich cream colour, one medium size and one small.

Both are in good condition with no cracks but have various age related marks, with some little bumps under the glaze and scrapes to the base, typical of these jars that give them a lovely rustic feel and look.

The larger jar measures 14 cm and has a diameter of 9.5 cm.
The smaller jar measures 11 cm and has a diameter of 8  cm.

They would look beautiful displayed as part of a collection or would make a great addition to a kitchen shelf. They would be equally at home in a vintage style or modern home, and they are a handy size meaning they could be used as utensil pots, pen pot or plant pots, as well as preserve pots or jam jars as originally intended. I also like to use them as vases. A great way of adding a farmhouse feel to your kitchen.

Price is for both jars together.
