An unusual light cream stoneware pot from the Victorian era. The black transfer writing indicates that it originally held Cumberland Rum Flavoured butter which I'm assuming is a variation on the brandy butter we all love at Christmas.

It now makes a handy storage pot for the kitchen or can be used as a small planter or vase.

The pot has a hairline crack on one side as shown but otherwise is in very good, clean vintage condition and measures 9 cm high 6.75 cm in diameter.
