Pair of English stoneware jars in different sizes
A lovely pair of English glazed ceramic conserve jars from the early twentieth century, in different stone shades. Both are in good condition with various age related marks, some little bumps under the glaze and scrapes to the base, typical of these jars that give them a lovely rustic feel and look. They are nice and clean internally.
The larger jar measures 14 cm and has a diameter of 9 cm. The smaller jar measures 10.5 cm and has a diameter of 7 cm.
They would look beautiful displayed as part of a collection or would make a great addition to a kitchen shelf. They would be equally at home in a vintage style or modern home, and they are a handy size meaning they could be used as utensil pots, pen pot or plant pots. I also like to use them as vases. A great way of adding a farmhouse feel to your kitchen.
